In addition to the usual Legal Aid services required to pay the cost of a case, we provide Free Legal Aid for those who, for example, engage in agriculture, fishery, or are low-income city dwellers, being in need of special attention.
According to the individual agreements concluded between the Korea Legal Aid Corporation and Nonghyup [Agricultural Cooperatives], Suhyup [Fishery Cooperative], Shinhan Bank, KT&G, the Ministry of Gender Equality, the Ministry of Labor, and the Small & Medium Business Administration, respectively, we provide Free Legal Aid to farmers, fishermen, low-income city residents, tobacco retailers, female victims of domestic violence, overdue wage workers, small-scale self-employed merchants and industrialists, etc., based on the fund contributed by such organizations in execution of the above agreements.
The determination of Free Legal Aid application exempts the applicant from all costs and actual expenses such as attorney's fee, stamp tax and delivery service fee to court, excluding when the winning amount exceeds 200 mil. won.
